The Proxima C180 (AKA Infocus LP640) is a great general purpose projector. I am using one for high definition television watching on a 100 inch screen and it does a great job! All my friends are impressed when they come over and see how clear and bright the picture is. For under $400 used on eBay, this projector is an amazing deal. Don’t spend hundreds or thousands more on any other projector. In my opinion, the C180 as well as the identical Infocus LP640 LCD projectors produce a much richer and more colorful image compared to DLP projectors. Whether you are going to use it for HD video, power point presentations, back yard movie nights, or in you bar or club, this projector will not disappoint you. I highly recommend this projector!
This line of projectors work well with both computer and video projection. They are bright (2200) Lumens but what is really nice is that they reproduce colors well and they are amoung the better projectors in their class when it comes to video and photo projecton. Another nice feature is that when they are ceilig mounted, they self configure. No need to go thuough the menu to invert the image, it's automatic! Great all-around projector!
The ASK Proxima LCD projector is top notch. It's easy to handle, easy to work, and has special features to make your presentation shine bright.
My company has used 10 these projectors for 8+ years and they work great at their native resolution of 1024x768. These units work good at higher resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 as long as you maintain the frequency at 60hz. In the 8+ years of use we have had only 2 units go bad (usually the motherboard).
Love the item. We used it for Halloween and the bulb had plenty of life to last a couple hrs. each evening. Works perfect. Thanks!
