About this product

Product Information

Quantum Theory is a futuristic third-person shooter starring a hulking, battle-scarred soldier named Syd and a lithe warrior named Filena. Together they will fight for the survival of the human race, as a deadly material known as Erosion makes its way across the post-apocalyptic land, infecting everything in its reach. The source of the Erosion appears to be emanating from a "living" tower, so the heroes vow to destroy it no matter what the cost. Quantum Theory is notable for featuring a shapeshifting battlefield that will create obstacles or hazards in real-time. Players will take control of Syd, with Filena joining the action as a computer-controlled teammate. The duo can perform combos and various other actions together, allowing players to combine forces to defeat giant boss characters and other alien-like enemies. Online support is also included in four distinct play modes.

  • not woth proving the teheory

the game is reminescent of gears of war.the games repitiveness makes it some like your doing the same thing over and over again.enter room take cover and shott at enemies.then you go in another room and do it again and again.the narrative make it tough to get enthusiastic about Quantum Theory, but the gameplay also fails to generate much excitement. To its credit, the game gets the basics of its cover-based stop-and-pop shooting down pat, with Syd moving from cover to cover smoothly. Shooting is also solid.the game takes about 8 hours to beat.Quantum Theory may evoke the look and style of the Gears series, but that in itself isn't a negative as originality really isn't a requirement for most games. What is required is fun, and with dumb AI, extremely repetitive levels, and cheap deaths, ...

  • not bad, IF u haven't played killzone 2 & 3, or deadspace 1 & 2

won this for a song at auction brand new shrinkwrapped, that should have been a clue, but i still played Quantum Theory all the way through and enjoyed the adventure i have seen a lot worse. downside: playing environment is limited, lots of rooms and areas and terrain u can't go into or interact with, which changes your tactical approach to killing the bad guys or knocking out their weapons. u don't know where u can't go until u try and get killed standing there in the open catching bullets or a laser sweep like a fool. i also found the audio dialogue during battles mundane and repetitive, it would have been better if the game architects just left the chatter OUT as after a while it just gets irritating. overall a three out of five star shooter that plays the sci-fi mystical angle for ...

  • Good game.

Good game. Quantum Theory doesn't have quite enough to differentiate it from other similar shooters. But the solid core mechanics and novel co-op play are a good start, so it remains to be seen how the final product will fare.

  • Bad game, not interested

Bad game, i dont liked, its a cheap replica of gears of war, not good, you dont know nothing about this guy, and suddenly you have to kill every one of the enemies
