This an excellent original PlayStation game. It's a 3D Beat 'em up and is the spiritual successor to Streets of Rage. The graphics are pretty damn good for the time and still hold up today. My only complaint is that the move set is not as high as I'd like it to be. It's still a good game though, and a worthy addition to anyone's PlayStation collection.

Originally planned to be sold under the Streets of Rage brand, the plan changed and the game was renamed Fighting Force. My first impression playing the game was that it felt like a 3D Streets of Rage, so if you liked the Sega series, check this one out. The game is the most fun with another player, so if you plan on playing alone you may want to consider getting something else. The game seems a little short, and it doesnt have alot of replay value unforunately. When originally released, the game got middle of the road reviews, so for Fighting Force 2 the gameplay was changed significantly, so significantly no one bought the sequel, ultimately killing what could have been a multi-generation 3D brawler. If you're wondering about the "Collector's Edition", towards the end of the original Playstation's lifespan, alot of popular games were rereleased with a white label and bundled in packs of three. Eidos had a smart idea of adding in demos and extras to its Greatest Hits, and as far as I know, all of their "White Label" or Collector's Edition games feature the extras without the glaring green label.Read full review
Being that I only started playing videogames on playstation 10 years ago, I clearly miss the humorous sounds of the game characters clobbering each other Don't get me wrong, I've played videos back when pong on atari was big! Now, a little of the past doesn't make anyone less( for the younger generation )Try it out, graphics aren't up to todays expectations, but have fun with it, that's what counts!

If your a retro gamer you remember this game was equivalent to Streets of Rage 2. Beat em up awesomeness! This game doesn't hold up as well as sor2 but still a solid beat em up to play with a friend like its 1999.

This title out ways them both. Plus cartridges are obsolete. Content was flawless and cheap. An easy choice if u grew up with this nostalgia.
