I have to say that I first saw this projector at a college, where is was the projector of choice. Now that I bought a used one, I can see why. It was an inexpensive purchase,(although used), and included plenty of cables and a remote, and was easy to set up. It handled both mac and windows, as well as a tv/video processor. It also makes my XBOX games look great as well. When you consider the price of wide screen televisions; my sister paid a few thousand for her 50 inch Sony, a few years back, and yet I have the same picture quality she has, with the ability to go larger even, to boot. All this for a lot less money...how can you not be please with such a purchase.
The Infocus LP540 is a great general purpose projector. I am using one for high definition television watching on a 100 inch screen as well as several at work for power point presentations, and all of them preform flawlessly! All my friends are impressed when they come over and see how clear and bright the picture is. For under $400 used on eBay, this projector is an amazing deal. Don’t spend hundreds or thousands more on any other projector. In my opinion, the LP640 and LP540 LCD projectors produce a much richer and more colorful image compared to DLP projectors. Whether you are going to use it for HD video, power point presentations, back yard movie nights, or in you bar or club, this projector will not disappoint you. I highly recommend this projector!
Although it is a replacement of the same one I have, It works just like it. My theater guests immediately noticed there wasn't a spider web or a burnt spot on the screen. I can play shows now without wondering about becoming embarrassed. The price was just right considering that the virus outbreak closed down stores and money was a bit lot. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Works great! Very bright, great colors, and quiet! Looks a bit grainy while watching football (the yard-lines become pixelated), otherwise great for gaming and general HD television! I used an HDMI to PC converter (cost about $5.00) for HD viewing.
