Great mount
This phone mount is perfect it places the phone in a great spot in your car. It makes it easy to reach your phone and easy to view for navigation. it is very secure that even on a bumpy road you can rest a sure that your phone is not going to drop or fly anywhere. So the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it may cover some parts of your radio. For me that don't matter since i have steering controls for everything in my car including the radio. But i also believe that no mount is perfect.This phone mount is perfect it places the phone in a great spot in your car. Not for my car.
Thing probably works well for some cars but not so well for me. Scooby needed a phone holder and didn't want a cig lighter one or windshield mount, this one seemed perfect. Except when I get in snugly, it pushes my source buttons behind it, changing well the source. I had to manipulate the holding system to hold tight without being all the way in and pushing my buttons. Also the swivel feature seems too loose, it flops around. I can live with the swivel part, and a little ingenuity to make it work, but wish I didn't have to, if your car is a 2002 E320, don't get this.Thing probably works well for some cars but not so well for me. Holds the phone- most of the time
the unit often falls out of the cd slot in my BMW X5, but it blocks most of the HVAC and radio controls, so its not a good solution for this vehicle. It is easy to use and when it stays in, holds the phone in a good position and works well. It also pushes the volume buttons on an iphone 6s, so it must be placed carefully to avoid the buttons

A Damn Good Product
I am someone who takes the time to find the right purchase for all things MINE! Research through videos ratings and reviews as well as color and style...this is all that and more. Didnt want a mount hanging in my window obstructing the view. Did i mention i ordered it on a sat. and it was here on a mon.? Yeah, ordering two more...one for my husband and a backup for myself

Sturdy one. Well designed.
My car has those round air vents. So i need to mount the phone on the CD slot. I bought one from another brand about 8 months ago. But that has lost its grip. It seems a lot more sturdy than that one. So far, no complain.
