I had Nero 8 before and the only reason I'm upgrading is to be up to date with modern technology. The Video program makes excellent movies and videos, with all the latest video transitions and effects, and is very easy to understand. The lightscribe label printing software that comes with Nero could use some improvement, so that vibrant color labels can be printed onto the lightscribe DVDs.

This was to be an upgrade. One must download the tools separately & run them separately, they are not on the disk. You can't backup from one open icon selection to another, you must close and re-run Nero. I wanted to capture my LPs & cassette tapes in digital format. You can't do it with 2017 Preminum as advertised. It appears they screwed the program up trying to make it an APP system. I believe the older version is much better, i.e.9. My O/S are Win10Pro & Win7Pro.

This records the video to dvd just as i expected, and works flawlessly, Since i paid for the software and got a legit key (with box i might add) I don't have any issues with registration or trials or anything like that. this vertion has bloat that the 2020 vertion and from what i hav e used bolth vertions this one is exactly the same. purchase this one you won't be sorry.

It is a good value for the money however I think some of the newer features are not for this user. I don't use I phones to play music so very little is usable for me in the portable media. Now I use almost everything else and it is quite good. I probably should stick to old school software But that is not the fault of Nero. I do not regret the purchase and maybe I will use all of it in the future. This is my ongoing tech education!
