T-Mobile sells this unit for $499.00 with no contract, so what a great price. Still factory sealed, absolutely brand new. I also have the new HTC Jetstream(unlocked) and the 1.2" difference in screen size is hardly noticeable. Otherwise it has everything and more. It even comes with 3D glasses as it takes 3D video. Same Android Honeycomb operating system as the HTC, the only difference is T-Mobile units only have the HSPA+ 4G technology while the new HTC has both HSPA+ and the new 4G LTE. It works on both, whichever is available where you are. But it's also twice the price of the G-Slate. So for the money this is blows away the iPad 2 for half the price. None of the Apple products are even 4G. Best value tablet available.
I took it to Texas for Christmas, since my son's career is in computer program creation and he has all the goodies. He said it is a great buy, and all I will need, since I will not use it as a cell phone, although I could, and my choice of apps and functions is small. He said it will accommodate anyone's tablet needs and I got a good make and size. I have used it already, and find it quick, sharp, and fun, especially the perfect size.
