My second Zoom DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 cable modem. The first one is 4 years old and still going strong. Got this one to avoid the day that first modem would die and I would be modem-less for a time. Retired the first one to backup status and connected this new one right away. Same great performance, and now I have a backup for immediate use...just in case.
