If you have Verizon Fios, you can hook these up as network bridges anywhere in your house where you have a coax cable with the fios tv signal connected. For instance, I have one access point set up near my smart tv, so the tv can have a direct network connection using ethernet instead of wifi. You can also use them as wifi extenders by setting them up with the same ssid and password as your main router. Note that moca over coax is limited to about 230MB/sec, so while these support gigabit ethernet, you will only achieve that with devices connected to the same router. Don't rent moca extenders from Verizon... these are much cheaper and will pay for themselves in a month or 2.
