Most tablets lack potent processor, USB port, CD/DVD drive and few other things. CD/DVD drive is hardly needed these days in the world of cheap USB sticks. This tablet has potent processor and a dedicated USB 3.0 port for various accessories. Most of other tablets have just single port for accessing data and charging and sometime both the tasks are not possible at the same time. However this tablet provides all the solution and also has huge memory size which other tablet lacks. Price is on expensive side but really worth it buying a used one which I bought from very good seller with ,lot of accessories free.

This was a replacement for my original surface 2 pro and its condition exceeded my expectations. the 8GB of ram makes this machine perform well and for what I use it for the 512GB SSD is more than enough. I use it for lectures with Powerpoint to a projector. Also Photo Shop 5.5 works well. Would highly recommend the surface pro series of computers. Hardly use my desk top any longer. If looking for an inexpensive laptop with tablet functions, buying a used surface pro 2 with 8Gb of Ram and at least 256 Gb ssd for around $200 makes a grat deal of sense.

The Microsoft surface pro 2 is a fantastic tablet still in 2017. The specs honestly perform better than entry level laptops plus you get ultra portability and very good battery life.

I got a great deal on mine that included the dock & keyboard with full 3 year warranty. the battery life on any of these devices is only good if you have stuff turn off on not using the full amount IE like the brightness. so I maybe will see 4 hours. my only complaint would be with the seller not returning the help I needed regarding warranty.
