I saw bunch of good reviews on these, and I have good experiences with other Corsair stuff so I went for it. Pro: -They tie into the iCUE software nicely, allowing for real-time EQ, Dolby Surround and RGB adjustments. Cons: - my $25 unpronounceable brand name wired headset outperforms these in the following ways: mic boost, ear seal, bass (could be attributed to ear seal.) -the microfiber mesh earcups feel dated like the mesh you get on an early 2000's running shoe. -mesh cups combined with the odd shape and light head squeeze make for the worst seal I've ever experienced on an "around the ear" headset -don't look up/down, they might fall off your head -mic boost turned to max and Discord registers only a couple bars when speaking normally. (5%ish) Conclusion, I abhor returning things, but this may be one of those times. I've since put leatherette earcups on them and they're marginally better. If the earcups were like 1-3/4" thick, they might compensate for the lack of "head squeeze", but because there's so much room for your ears in the cups, it's very easy to get them to slide back/forth when looking up/down. Basically I'm getting on the Steelseries Arctis train after this. Sigh.Read full review

I got this to replace my old Consair wireless that still works great. While it comes with a dongle it doesn't come with the base like my old one. It's VERY hard to set up and get it to work on Windows 7. It's much bigger and heavier on my head than my old headset and if I lean forward it falls over my face. I can't make it small enough to fit me. If you wear it over a motorcycle helmet it might fit you. The volume level adjustment on the headset barely works. It comes with RGB lights that if you don't disable they eat up your battery. Who needs flashing colored lights on a headset ??? The software doesn't work correctly and I can only access the sound equalizer settings with it turned off. If I try to adjust the settings they are greyed out with it on. Go look on their forums before you buy this thing and you'll see all the probs we are having. I wish I had looked there first. I'm sorry for my purchase. I wish they still made my old headset I've owned like 4 or 5 years. Do not buy this piece of junk.Read full review

So I bought this product KNOWING, there would be little signs of use, little hole in the wire, scuffs etc. Still works, great sound, I have a Corsair setup so this was a great addon. No complaints. Yet lol. 5 stars. Quick shipping, great packaging can't complain about that. Highly recommend if you don't want to pay the $79 for a brand new one.
