Members of this household own Samsung Galaxy Tabs S3, S4 and S6. The slow evolutionary improvement have been apparent. While the S4 & S6 have the same display area, the non-displaying narrow band around the S6 is smaller which allowed the entire device to be slightly smaller and sounds good on paper, but based on experience, I actually prefer having the slightly wider non-display non-touch sensitive area around the S4 screen because holding these tablets with one hand while controlling them with the other hand requires having the holding hand's thumb hold onto the non-sensitive area around the active screen. Frequency of having unintended thumb touches onto the active area by the holding hand's thumb are much higher with the S6. So that slightly smaller device size came with a cost that users pay that they experience as unintended erroneous touch commands. Only on certain very demanding work is the faster CPU performance advantage of the S6 apparent over the S4. But the improvement in the four (4) corner speaker system on the S6 over the S4 is to me amazing. The change was from good to very good in terms of how well it can be heard within a room. The KeyBoard option for the S4 has no touch pad while the S6 KeyBoard does have a touch pad. With the touch screen, one might assume that having a touch pad as well would make little difference in terms of how pleasant the experience is. But at least for me, I have found that to be a feature which after experiencing it, one simply does not want to go back to not having it. Another big plus for the S6 over the S4 when teamed with their optional KeyBoards. The S4 rear camera has flash illumination capability which was swapped out an replaced with a second camera lens that's very wide angle of acceptance on the S6. That's a mixed blessing which some will prefer each solution. But the S4 has a conventional 3.5mm stereo audio jack that's simply missing on the S6. For me, that's a clear negative for the S6 vs the S4. On either you can drive audio through Bluetooth receiving devices including headphones, but I like my $300+ wired headphones better than any Bluetooth versions I've tried. It is possible to use the S6 only port which is USB 3C (rounded ends with no up or down side) to drive a USB adapter with a built-in 3.5mm stereo jack. We have a couple of them, one a 1-to-11 device and the other a 1-to-12 device, but they both eat Tab battery power fast enough that you are going to want to add a wired-to-wall USB power supply to keep them active, especially when using them to drive one of your HDMI flat screen TVs with your Tab. Those adapters eat so much power that they get hot after a while! Do I miss the 3.5mm audio out jack on the S6. Definitely yes. I'd rather have a little bump on the back side edge to enclose an "old fashioned" 3.5mm audio out jack than have it missing and be a few thousandths of an inch thinner everywhere. Probably more information than you wanted from a quick review, but those are some of my impressions -Read full review

Great Tablet! I'm using it to take notes, as secondary screen to my laptop, and sometimes to watch YouTube. So far I had no problems with it. It comes with original Samsung cover and Keyboard, which I'm not using too often. They tend to slide on slippery surfaces. My girlfriend has a iPad Pro, and these 2 tablets are comparable, with iPad having a nicer pencil and software support (Android note taking apps are not great), but it's not worth additional $350 when considering this auction.

It's easy to transition to from my old tablet. Some things I like better and so far nothing I miss. The screen has an excellent picture, clear and sharp. Backgrounds are clear and defined. I thought the battery might stay charged longer but it does last quite awhile with my light use. It is a bit cumbersome as it is bigger and heavier than my old tablet and the bezels are so narrow it's difficult to handle without affecting the screen but I am loving the large, clear screen. Now that I use a cover it is less slippery so easier to handle. I will miss being able to fit it into my purse but that's not the tablet`s fault as I could have ordered a smaller one. I am pleased with the ram and memory package for this price. I have not used the pen or keyboard yet but was pleased to get the package with them both at a better price than without the keyboard. I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to anyone looking to buy one.Read full review

Samsung historically makes bad tablets. Typically a Samsung tablet is a lag infested bloated slab of glass not worth the cardboard it's shipped in. Samsung has finally started taking Tablets seriously. The Tab S6 is a great device, easily holds it's ground against an iPad and in many ways outperforms any iPad. The screen is phenomenal, it may even be better than Apple's screens. Definitely a good buy. NOTE: DO NOT BUY THE Tab 6 Lite! It's too underpowered to run Samsung's bloated Android skin.

I buy it because the previous Lenova tablet was too slow, so I bought it. This is so fast, and much better to used. The sound and the pen was excellent. It helps to study by internate.
