Honestly, this keyboard is perfect for $40-$50. It has RGB lighting, macro keys, volume control, wrist wrest, etc. One thing I should mention is the keys are not mechanical, they are membrane, which is OKAY! There’s nothing wrong with membrane for daily use, mechanical is just a gimmick for gamers IMO, membrane keys get the job done too, much quieter. I replaced my old hp keyboard with this and wow, I’m impressed. No need to buy $100+ keyboards for that RGB lighting anymore!

Bought this keyboard because it was advertised to have fully programmable keys. I was able to program keys according to the instructions but, the keyboard preceded all my programmed keys with a three key string. As a result none of my programmed keys worked as i had intended. Don't know what was wrong, bad unit or wouldn't work with Windows 10. Tried to get an answer from Corsair but they seamed to confirm it couldn't work with Windows 10 cause they sent me a return address label.

I used to use the razer blackwidow 2013 ultimate for so many years, and one problem I had was that it was to loud and the matte coating on the keyboard was a finger print magnet. I was really tired of it, so decided to look for something new. This is when I came across Corsair k55 keyboard, and its been the best purchase upgrade. Yes I know its not mechanical, but this keyboard feels so premium and feels amazing to type and game on. The light settings are amazing to be able to choose from so many keys, and the macro keys are just a great bonus that works much better than the razer in my opinion. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a upgrade on a budget. Its premium with all the features you could want from a keyboard.

I bought a really good used version of this keyboard. they RGB works great, althout I can only use certain pre sets. and the Macro keys are probably my favorite thing it easy to set up and usefull. No bells and whistles very simple keyboard, althout I find the keystrokes a bit hard compared to a similar keyboard from steelseries that I had before but I think this is more due to me not beign used to this keyboard yet. I personally prefer Mechanical or Mechanical imitation keyboards but because of the noise they create I have had to go back to memebrane and this seems to fit my needs.

Very much worth its pricetag. I see no reason to get a more expensive keyboard especially when this out performs my "higher quality" wireless keyboard by simply not disconnecting every couple of minutes.
