Product Information

Developed by Skyworks Technologies, Quad Desert Fury is the second all-terrain vehicle racing title to be released for the Game Boy Advance. Users can choose to race on a trail-based track in which they must stick to the set path or on the freestyle track for more freedom of movement. Each race through the desert is against three computer-controlled opponents.<br><br>Modes of play include Quick Race, Time Trial, and Championship. All races feature a variety of obstacles, such as sinkholes, large dunes, and desert wells. An in-game map is available to assist players during each race. As a race progresses, checkpoints are charted on the map in order to help drivers locate their position quickly.<br><br>A quick glance at the top of the screen will inform players of their collected time, the number of laps that remain, and their current position in the race. Quad Desert Fury also places an arrow at the top center of the screen, which indicates the correct direction to proceed.

    way too short of a game

    I hate to be the only critic of this game, but this review I am writing is for people who have played many racing games and are looking for a challenging racer. First off, I beat the game in about 20 minutes. The two modes, single race and challenge, are all you're going to be getting, which include seven levels. In order to advance in challenge mode you must get first place in each race. This was done with great ease; it seemed like whenever I screwed up badly in the game, the AI would actually slow down to wait for you! I've played through the game at least three times and have NEVER gotten lower than 1st place! The whole game seems very rushed..no credits, no options, only two modes, one song throughout the game, no choice of ATV, and the maps are very, very similar. The good thing ...

    Fun game, easy to youngsters

    I bought this for my 4 year old who loves to play games like his big brother. He can play this game and enjoys it. His father has actually played it as well and says it is quite fun for people who like race style games.

    My little boy loves it!!

    My little boy is six years old and rides 4-wheelers. This game is really perfect for him. Not too hard and complicated. Not quite realistic but good for his age. An older child would not stay that interested in it for too long, in my opinion. But overall, thought it was way better than any warrior games where there is violence.

    Quad Desert Fury (Game Boy Advance)

    I have 5 children at home and recently purchased 5 Game Boy Advance Systems through E-Bay! I have been very pleased with each purchase. 2 of my 5 children are boys and of course what boy doesn't like 4 wheeler racing! I was very pleased with the Quad Fury Game Boy and it was an excellent choice for my 2 sons. I have even caught my 3 daughters playing the game!
