Vantec SATA/IDE to USB 3.0 Adapter (CB-ISA225-U3)
I like the inline power switch. With it's own power supply there is no lag waiting for USB power. Simple and easy to use. Learned that the specific drive I wanted to test is junk, but also got me into two other drives for important files that I thought were lost. Very pleased with this unit.

The Vantec IDE/SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter is well manufactured, and easy to use. A must have in your tech toolbox arsenal. The plugs have a nice secure fitment and it comes with a compact power supply equipped with it's own shutoff switch, a handy and useful convenience. My first use helped rescue a HD from a malfunctioning PC saving me more than the cost of the adapter$$

This is a simple yet sturdy pen. It's well balanced and has a solid feel to it. You won't get much hand fatigue. The refills are only $2.99 at Office depot and you can use refills by pentel with gel ink.
