Edimax BR-6478AC. Took forever to hook up. I currently have Spectrum for my internet. My speeds are 100mbps download and 12 upload. The Edimax router only gets 2-15 depending on if it wants to work. I have a bedroom computer about 25 feet away and only get 1 to 2 bars. I am totally disgusted with the lack of support. They never reply to emails and have no phone support. Stay away from this product. BUYER BEWARE!

ok on 2.4ghz. but on 5ghz the wireless range decreased dramatically that its better to use 2.4ghz. wireless 5ghz was able to get 90mbps on 100mbps connection compared to 2.4ghz's at 50mbps - only when you are near the router. but if you are in the other room the 2.4ghz gets around 35mbps while the 5ghz gets 10mbps. The signal on 5ghz is very poor. otherwise it is good if sitting close.

Tremendous bargain. Needs at least a 2amp power supply and they sometimes ship with a 1 amp supply - big error! I have several and they work great as routers, repeaters, or access points. My internet service is 100Mpbs from Spectrum, and I average better than 100Mbps through these devices on the WiFi links..(Spectrum doesn't throttle its connections.)
