This game is as awesome as a ninja robot Jesus kick Saddam Hussien and Osama Bin Laden in the testicles at the same time. It's more amazing that a unicorn with TWO horns! I inserted the disc in my computer and started the install, I actually had to change my pants during this process. When I got to the game play I had to change my pants AGAIN!!! The combat system is really nice. I rather like the weapon system, mainly how you can stack weapons to make them stronger. The controls for the horse aren't so great and the system for being detected picking locks seems kind of vague. They can someone sometimes detect you when your in the other room picking locks, or behind them. It's not oblivion, but that's a good thing. Feels less serious and all the teleportation in oblivion cuts down on exploring. It's a lot of fun and for the price it's going for on ebay it's definitely worth picking up.Read full review
Game is pretty cool. The only flaw is the sound whenever you talk or interact with other characters and then return to the actual gameplay. I am sure Top Ware has worked this bug out through a patch and will have TW2 completely evolved whenever it is release 1/25/11. I would recommend this game for those who love RPG's such as Oblivion, Silverfall, and Diablo. It is a world with pretty much endless boundries and easy accessible item changes such as Silverfall and gore such as Diablo I and II.
pros: expansive world to explore. forgiving talent system. the ability to repair or upgrade weapons with others of the same type. quests are marked clearly on the map and radar. mounted combat. cons: bad voice acting in many places. horses can be hard to control. steep learning curve. magic system lacking. learning new magic requires travel to high lvl areas in order to learn them early so as to be of any use. new spells and spells you want hard to get as they are randomly generated be merchants. all and all a enjoyable game if you can do with out the magic and ignore the voice acting.
I've heard about this game and wanted it for about two or three years now. I love huge rpg's where there is alot of stuff you can do. I also like having choices to do different things in the game. I've put a total of three hours into the game already all of which have been spent traveling around the vast world. Comparing this game to Oblivion, I would take this game over it just about any day. The graphics are a little less smooth than in oblivion along with some of the actions. But I love the normalized leveling system. You get experience, you level up simple as that. It's also sweet that there is an online section to this rpg, giving an option to level up a character online, or you can use a standardized character class and fight in the arena. Overall this is definetly a game that if given the option that I would buy again.Read full review
