This tablet was worth what I paid for it... gorgeous 12+" display, ripping i7 chip, decent battery life and a fast charge. Nice sound from the front facing speakers as well. That being said, there are issues with using what is essentially a mouse driven interface on a tablet with regard to button and other clicking activity. Sometimes it is very difficult to select a widget or control with the much less precise finger. As mentioned in other reviews, occasionally when pressing the power button it sticks or the system thinks the power button sticks and the tablet displays the power menu, selects power down, and shuts down. I fixed that by disabling the tablet timeout/lock. Not sure why that fixed it but clearly it has something to do with that (empirically). There are other occasional glitches with windowing that are annoying but then I look at the screen again and I am blown away by the display. This tablet is so close to being worth the original sticker price it is sad google chose to EOL.Read full review

Majorly underrated. This powerhouse is fast and reliable. Google has done crucial software updates that have made the Pixel Slate an amazing and undoubtedly functional mix of Chrome OS with Android. It has one of best screens that I've ever seen and the speakers sound great, even at full volume. It's an excellent tablet and with the Google Slate keyboard attached, it's a great Chromebook, too.
