If you are like me you are reluctant to give simplistic answers about anything. I bought it used so it was a very good value. It is quiet, seems to run cool and in the short time I have been using it has given me absolutely no trouble. It is not small. It's a 3.5" drive in a case. But it is 3tb and it does look good.
