Product Information

Players choose from a dozen All-Terrain Vehicles and three motorbikes, all from real-world names like Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. Once the vehicle selection is made a trip to the garage is in order, where ATV's and bikes can be tweaked and customized to better match specific driving styles. Then it's time to crank up the alternative rock soundtrack, grab a few friends, and hit the off-road course for stunts and speed. Up to four players can compete at once on a split-screen with the help of a PS2 multi-tap.<br> <br>All vehicles and environments in ATV Offroad Fury are rendered in full 3D. Vehicles need not stay "on track" at all times and players can steer their bikes and ATV's anywhere on the course. To scale, environments can be over two square miles and the game provides 20 different area for racing. A track editor is also included to allow players to design their own courses. The game features six different types of competition, including Enduro races and freestyle stunt contests. ATV Offroad Fury was developed by Rainbow Studios, which is also responsible for the successful PC titles Motocross Madness and Motocross Madness 2.

    The first in a forgotten series

    Not bad for a used game. Runs perfectly. This ws the beginning of a cool series. I always and only played the 2nd game when I was young, but playing the others is a must knowing that was a sequel and it itself has 2 more sequels. It's easy to tell this was the oldest, as it was released in '01, so it's an early PS2 title, but it still looks nice (and I love the box art). Pretty cool soundtrack but I don't think it's nearly as good a soundtrack as the 2nd. But I do have yet to hear all the songs. This was a very cool, fun series, that is definitely worth a shot. Shame Sony abandoned it, but the MX Vs ATV is probably what caused that, which I also hear is really good. Will be trying that series next.

    Oldie but goodie!

    Was looking forward to letting my 10 niece get into these sorts of games. But the game loaded slow and would stop playing and would take 5-6 mins to start back playing, if it ever started back playing.

    ...as good as the real thing...i think?

    I think that this game is a lot of fun. It works very well as a 'party game'. My girl and her friends were able to come over and pick up on it very quickly.The graphics and motions within the tracks is very well done. And as a lesser known title, the price was good for the quality. Kids would also enjoy this one, my friends sons love it...while it isn't too easy for adults as well. Pick this one up, for sure! -seezinhai

    Great Game, very nostalgic!

    I remember playing this game years ago with my uncle's. After just purchasing again, this game is super nostalgic and has held up well. Great ps2 game!

    ATV Offroad Fury

    This is a really fun game! Doing tricks is a blast! The atv's handle a little too well but, other than that it rocks! This is a great game for parties with the four-player feature. It has really fun terrain to explore. This is a good bargain if you don't want to pay over $30 for a newer game with the same features, so buy it!
