Well specifically the only negative is that it's not super-comfy -- I have to wear a beanie or hood-up or let the cups ride ahead of the ears. BUT THE MIC SOUNDS GREAT - a little boosted on the low-end, which I don't prefer, but still great. And the sound from the headphones is embarrassingly as good as my former steadies at $90-120. I'll give it a 9 of 10 for professional use. Also - a bonus - you have a SEPARATE full A-D USB converter - interface with cool buttons. Which means you also have a SEPARATE headset for any smartphone jack (TRRS only.) What's not to like? Oh -- the cord is too short -- you're going to need an extension if you want to reach to coffee pot.

These headphones are fantastic - for the first few weeks... then the head piece snaps in places it's not supposed to , the wires become loose, and there is a lot of static. I have bought 4 pairs of these headphones in 4 months hoping that the next pair I get would not be a dud, and they all are. I will never buy another pair of these headphones again.
