I played the original Spy Hunter back in the 1980's. Although there isn't a foot pedal and steering wheel with controls mounted on top, I have to admit the game play itself is the same: those pesky black cars creeping up from behind and how to outwit them. Quite honestly I feel that this is in fact from the original Spy Hunter jamma board and is not an altered duplicate. With original Spy Hunter arcade games hard to come by, this is the next best thing. Great graphics on the case, music, fun game play and controls that work, it's worth the reasonable price for a trip down Memory Lane.

I really enjoy playing this game, and I’m glad they’ve put it out for young adults to play in the privacy of their own home. At least it would save them enough trouble if some of the arcade places here in the US are closed because of COVID-19. But if by some chance if we do have a second nation shut down, luckily these games will keep us busy and entertained while passing the time during this pandemic. I would personally recommend this game as well as the other games to lots of video game lovers.

It's much better than I expected. It has some flaws, like there is only one button for special weapons and machine guns, so if you have smoke screen, you can't fire the machine guns. Another is that there are only 2 speeds the car can go: slow and fast. Other than that, It's a fairly great copy of the original.
