The handset is in excellent condition, with one exception. The back plate which holds the batteries in did not click into place. I could not see any broken pieces. Luckily, the plate from the defective phone that I replaced fit fine. Unfortunately, the broken phone was while, while the replacement is black. So, now I have a two-tone phone. That's not a big deal as it is located in an area that is not very visible. It was strange that the black plate worked on the old (white) phone, but not on the "new" black one. The white plate worked fine on both. That being said, the phone works great! So, that's why I provided four vice five stars.
