Replaced an absent internal DVD on a low end Acer machine I am tweaking for my grandkid. Slipped right in, OS recognized the drive on boot up. Played a DVD movie ok, havent burned anything, yet but expect it to work properly as well. Well spent $$... grandkid will love it (if I don't hog it for myself ...and give him something else!!)
