    Princeton Digital VL2018W (BLACK) Monitor

    I bought this monitor for $189 used b/c i am working from home now and am on the computer a lot. It's a really nice size (21 inches). The color, quality, and 'graphics' are sharp. It has been PERFECT except for..... The only reason i would rate this average instead of excellent is b/c a few weeks after I had been using it, all-of-a-sudden I've had trouble getting the picture on the monitor to work. It would be blank, black, with the monitor on. Whenever the monitor is turned off, or i restart/shutdown my computer (which i do every night) the monitor has a blank black screen when it should have a picture. I've tried turning it off and on again, rebooting my computer, etc. It takes SEVERAL tries of these combinations to finally get the picture to come up. When it's up, it's cherry. It's ...

    Princeton Digital LCD Monitor

    The Princeton Digital LCD Monitor is perfect for any home office or dorm room. The sleek design and user friendly style is perfect for anyone. I purchased my monitor about 1 month ago and I don’t think I could be happier with it. The price alone was perfect for me and it was amazingly easy to set up with my computer. I love the look and size of my black, 20 inch monitor and would recommend Princeton Monitors to anyone looking to upgrade.

    New Monitor

    Couple of days after receiving this it wouldn't come on. Flashes on the screen, etc.turned it off and it would come on and stay all day.but weould do it again the next day.Called Princeton's toll-free number and they told me to replace either the power cord or the HDMI cable. Replaced the power cord with one I had(same as on computer)and it's worked great ever since. Colors are bright and I haven't had to make any adjustments to it.I would have given it a higher rating if not for the power cord/cable problem.Evidently,Princeton gets this alot, because their tech told me what to do before I'd finished telling him what was happening. But all in all, I'm very happy with it.

    PRINCETON LCD MONITOR

    the monitor itself is great. The images are clear and crisp, however the built in speakers are really bad in sound quality and volume! I am using my external speakers instead. I don't game so I can't evaluate the sped of motion on the monitor.

    VL2018W is trash!

    Princeton Graphic Systems is no longer in business, and there's a reason for that. They put out a very, very bad product. If you call the toll free number on the monitor (888-668-7655) it is disconnected. I called their company numbers, their fax numbers, etc and all were disconnected. If you go to their website (www.princetongraphics.com) it is no longer there. I own a VL2018W 20" LCD and after 8 months the screen went black. I looked it up online and this is a common problem for their monitors. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY THAT NO LONGER EXISTS! Look it up yourself!
