I retired my SoundBlaster Audigy Value 2 card almost after 8 years or more as it started making some unexpected cracking/noises and being a fan of Sound Blaster brand from the early 2000, chose to go for ZX card, blindly being a brand fan. While the card suits almost all and may be more of my expectations, lack of bass/subwoofer gain adjustments to precise levels make the card generate some kind of disturbing listening environment while watching YouTube videos, other locally stored media. Subwoofer gain should be adjustable! & it looks like the hardware itself doesn't have such functionality. Else I am pretty sure Creative would have added the option with the software. I spent 100$ on this card, plus addition 35$ to get it here in Kuwait as the local markets do not sell such premium accessories anymore due to poor selling. 135$ roughly translates to 43KWD which is a decent investment for a sound card. If anyone is planning to buy this card to use with a Windows 10 box, please be aware that the card delivers what it is supposed to, with a room for dissatisfaction in the areas of bass and subwoofer gains when setup for 5.1 speakers.Read full review

My motherboard came with SupremeFX sound card which is good for gamer, but I got this for music and other. It is little bit better not much. I like the red light. Only thing I did not like it was that it came with a lot of programs which wants to run when PC starts up. The programs slows the PC down. Make sure you install the programs that you only need.

I bought this to replace the external Creative Sound Blaster SB1095 sound card that I was using. Those SB1095's kept getting staticy sounds after about 6 months of use, so I kept having to buy a new one or stock up on them. I figured I can try out an internal one that has an SPDIF port and rearrange my wires to allow it to reach the sound card. The sound is not only equal to the SB1095 from what I can tell, it is actually more distinctive with the music. Sounds seem to be even more clear and I am hearing some things in the songs that I did not hear with the SB1095. I am hoping that since this is an internal PCI Express x4 card, it will last a whole lot longer than just 6 months. There is a red LED glow that comes from it which surprised me. There is also a small control knob that comes with it that has audio/mic jacks on the left and right sides of it and a volume knob on the top. I have yet to try this out. So far.. excellent product and improvement. :)Read full review

Crisp and clear with solid bass for music. Great channel separation in 2.1audio. Headphones work well through the ACM (Audio control module) and the volume control knob on the ACM is handy. Very well built with high quality Japanese capacitors.
