This is a great sinewave UPS for my needs. Had a power outage just the other day and the UPS saved me from loosing my office work and allowed me to stay connected to the router/internet so I could safely save everything. Fired up the portable generator but the generator power was under voltage and used the UPS monitoring software to know when it was time to power down the equipment as battery life was winding down.

A lot of power supplies need a perfect sinewave waveform of power input, which a lot of past UPS's dont do when on battery power. This one does output a perfect sinewave while on batery power. And it is extremely instant, so there is not a skip of a beat to anything pluged into the backup side when utility power is lost.
