I needed a tablet as a digital touch screen for a Behringer X18 Digital Mixer I recently purchased, and after some research, decided to go with this. At the time of purchase, I didn't realize Kindles ran a different operating system than my Android phone did. This worried me, as the software I needed to run was designed for Android devices. Thankfully, there are several ways to get Google Play Store to work on your Kindle that are easy and don't require 'rooting' your Kindle as a direct Android device. Since I've purchased mine, I've been able to experience the best of both the Android and Kindle worlds. I haven't had an issues running Android apps on my tablet, the screen is beautiful, and the battery lasts a very decent amount of time - even playing videos. The only issue - the built in speakers are incredibly under powered. Make sure you buy some headphones with it, or use powered speakers. For the price, you really can't beat it.Read full review
