This dock gives older laptops new life. Older...lol...What does that mean anymore? Last years model? I was not in the market for a new Microsoft Surface Pro, but needed to be able to connect it to dual external monitors. The new technology is USB C, the Surface Pro is a USB 3.0 device. What do do? This dock allows you to connect dual external monitors to a device that only has USB 3.0 available. I'm going to get 5 more years out of this workhorse Surface Pro!

Very misleading. I’m contacting Plugable tomorrow to see what else I can do or return this for the next higher product. I needed 2 external monitors, not 1 internal and 1 external. That I can work through my own 14 port hub. Very disappointed.
