9-volt lithium batteries are just slightly larger than 9-volt alkaline batteries or 9-volt zinc-carbon (heavy duty) batteries. To fit a 9-volt lithium battery into your handheld infrared thermometer, you will need to keep rotating the 9-volt lithium battery so that the wires form a circle, almost a ball. Keep trying the rotating of the battery until it finally fits. It's difficult but it will eventually fit, just barely.

These batteries are great for my unheated < New England > hallways! The cold here takes the energy out of regular batteries, I get much longer use out of these than any other!

Very pleased, especially because the product is not at all dated, the expiration date was about as far out as possible. Even fresher than what you might find on a big box store shelf. Perfect for our fire and carbon monoxide detectors that are way up high, I won’t need the ladder to change these batteries for at least 3 years.

Use these for some toys, Bulova Accutron power source and carbon monoxide alarm in basement. Lasts several years. Great batteries. Use the AA for outside weather station, usually replace every two years.

The no leakage makeup of lithium is desirable as it does not damaged the equipment it is used for. I t is also longer lasting compared to alkaline batteries.
