    Works fairly well on an HP machine

    I bought it to try on an HP Spectre because of the freaky high prices for powered HP docks.. It does work, but it has some quirks after the computer sleeps. You basically just have to restart it. I have found that the best course of action is to turn the computer off when you need to walk away for more than 15 minutes. The computer is blazing fast so it starts in about 15 seconds. If you do this, it works perfectly all the time, every time. Also, the power button on the dock won't control the power of the computer. That feature is reserved for Dell laptops only. This forces me to leave the laptop lid open all the time because HP laptops will not power up with the lid shut. As a plug and play, one cable system, this does work.     This product has limited functionality

    This product has limited functionality, unless you own a Dell laptop that is specifically designed to work with this docking station. I found that in an enterprise environment, the utility of this DS was hit or miss; having many of them returned for non-functionality. Flaky USB and Network connections were chief among concerns. I am not using this one with a HP laptop, but only for power through USB and multiple displays. Network and USB would cycle off and on.

    Good docking station for Latitude 7480

    Although I use the same docking station at work, this one is blazing fast. Not sure whether the one at work has something wrong with it, but I've got a great bargain.

    Excellent dock

    All around good docking station. Works well with multiple monitors, charges my laptop, connects many devices flawlessly. One caveat to be aware of if your laptop has 4k screen and monitors connected to dock are not, you need to log out and log back in for resolution to work properly. This is nothing to do with docking station, but windows. Definitely recommend. I'm using it with precision 5200
