Transcribing with this pedal & software has made transcribing faster and more enjoyable. I had used generic audio software & Word in the past. The pedal is fairly heavy, which makes it stable. The software program has additional features, including typing games and video editing, a nice bonus. It was easy to copy & paste into a Word file from the transcription software, but I think there's an even more direct way to do that -- I'm still in the first week of using mine. One drawback I can't find a way around: the font size in the transcription window is smaller than I prefer. I can't see any option to enlarge the font size. I may not have found it yet, but I checked several "setting" like options.

These foot switches are high quality and made for transcription but, they can also be used for many other purposes such as gaming to add an additional 3 keys to be activated by foot. Any key on your keyboard can be bound to this switch using the software found on Infiniti's website.

This foot pedal works great for transcription so that you need not move your typing hands at all. You can fast forward, fast rewind and also in the resume play mode, it can slightly rewind in order for you to catch up.
