Probably charges other devices a little faster but my Note4 is limited to 1020ma no matter what charger or cable I use and I've tried several different combinations but the Verizon charger is unique - it has a light at the end of the cable where you plug in to your charging port so you can find the port in the dark so I use it beside my bed.....love it

Ordered two to give as presents, and glad I tested them. While both cables "light" at the micro USB end, neither set actually charges. It seems there is a flaw in the charging wiring of the cables. When I substituted another charging cable on each wall charging unit, the phones (Motorola and Samsung) charged fine. With the included cables, neither phone would charge on either set. I have not checked to see if the cables are capable of moving data, but they are not useful for charging, which was supposed to be their purpose. Very disappointed. At least the wall chargers work, so I give 2 stars for that.

One of the 3 I ordered stopped working and was replaced promptly. This charger not only has the 9V output but unlike most other quick chargers it can go up to 12V. The first one they sent was not a quick charger 2.0 However it was the fastest standard speed charger I've ever used. I contacted the seller and they promptly sent the quick charger in the listing which works very well. Basic testing shows is charging my Samsung Note 4 phone at 9volts at 19 Watts from 15% battery life and maintaining 19 Watts up to 60% before slowly tapering off. That's 10 watts faster than the standard charger and charged my samsung galaxy note 4 3 times faster than most standard speed Chargers! One thing you should know about the Samsung Note 4 and I'm not sure this applies to other phones as well but it charges much faster with the screen off. With this charger it charges at 9 Watts with the screen on and 18 Watts with the screen off. If the phone is completely powered down but the screen is on simply to show the charging status It is charging at 18 Watts. Below is my review of the standard charger that showed up first It looks exactly the same except it has a different output and model number stamped on it; I have a standard charger tester that measures how much power is going through the wires before it gets to my phone 5.23 volts at 1.7 amps that comes out to 8.9 Watts. With the screen off it charges at 11 Watts. This makes this the best by far of the 27 standard speed chargers I have tested. I know it says it's rated at 2.1 amps right on the unit but Chargers in general never put out as much as they're rated for. Seller offered to resend item. My response was "yes but please send a Quick Charge 2.0 capable charger like the listing claims".Read full review

This charger rocks, pay attention to ID numbers, all Verizon chargers are not created equal. Nice 6' long heavy duty cable & with strong lighted main connection. MAGA

I thought it was great at first and after a few uses it no longer charged without having to adjust and readjust it. It is not worth the money because although it is a well intended item and has some great features like the lighted base indicator, the cord ia no better than the cheaper ones.
