Install went pretty easy but did like leaving credit car info. I have an existing account so after going to activate and logging in: pop up for install app. tapped Install anyway. Windows Defender tried to turn on bur wait for app to uninstall existing McAfee. Restart and tap install. Quick and easy but need to wait a few days to remove automatic renewal.

When you get to the website to install your code, it's an endless search to find the right menu. Had to finally call Customer Support, who told me that you must sign in at "the McAfee Store" page, which is completely different from the "install" page. Wasted two hours of my time before the friendly customer representative properly set it up for me. I expect better from an established vendor such as McAfee. Competitor's products are MUCH EASIER to install. Other than the installation problem the program appears to work properly. But the install problem is a turn off. I won't be renewing with McAfee when the subscription expires.

I don't like the fact that I am MADE to agree to the terms for auto renewal and provide my credit card information BEFORE I am able download the product. Then to cancel, I have to go to my account to cancel the renewal option. I have purchased other MCafee products and have NEVER had this issue. This is not a customer friendly process at all. I am very disappointed.

I had to install it as new, as I could not find any way to extend my current McAfee subscription (which means reinstall on all the laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones). It is working well though.
