I'VE BEEN PLAYING THIS GAME SINCE IT CAME OUT IN 1995 ALONG WITH XCOM/UFO (1994) WHICH I LIKE BETTER SO YOU NEED TO BUY BOTH FROM ALLVIDEO ON EBAY. I'M ALSO A LEAD GAMER & HAVE ABOUT 100 BOARDGAMES SOME DATING BACK TO THE LATE 50'S, ALSO A HARD CORE SQUADLEADER $ ASL GAMER. I'VE BEEN GAMING SINCE I WAS 13 YEAR'S OLD & I'M 50 NOW SO I KNOW MY GAMES. IT ALSO HELPS TO LEARN SOME SIMPLE U.S. ARMY INFANTRY TACTICS(SQUAD LEVEL)THE FORMATIONS WILL HELP YOU OUT ALOT IN XCOM/UFO & XCOM/TFD. IN XCOM/TFD YOU WILL HAVE WEAPONS FOR USE ON LAND AND UNDERWATER,BUT YOUR UNDERWATER WPNS WILL NOT WORK ON LAND & VICE A VERSA. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY GAMING. For those of us who like older games this one is real worth your time.This one is done in the same style as the first X-com. If you liked that one you'll love this one. Their are problems with running it on winXP. You will Enjoy this one if you like turn based combat. This game is easy and you can set different difficulty levels. This game is A++
One of my favorite game series growing up, the X-Com line of games still to this day provides a challenging escape from reality for me as well as a strong feeling of nostalgia. An excellent and rare game, but worth the price to anyone who has fallen in love with the X-Com series.
All of the greatness of X-com combined with the dark , fear inducing environment of the deep ocean... A true must have and a masterpiece. R.I.P. Microprose.
