I was looking for an inexpensive 3.0 card reader and this sure does the trick. It is the size of a larger usb stick and very light weight. It feels sturdy enough to last for years. The cap fits snugly. There is a small blue led light to let you know that it is powered on. It is not disgustingly bright. Speeds: For my test i use a Sandisk 16gb sdhc i rated at 30mbs. Windows 10 with the usb stick connected directly to my motherboard 3.0 port. Read speeds averaged 10mbs Write speeds averaged 41-42mbs.

USB Card reader is fast with my 32gb Samsung Micro SD card. My only grips with this product is the build quality. The build quality feels like it's made of cheap plastic that could easily break if you're not careful. But seeing as the price of this product is low i can handle that disadvantage
