About this product

Product Information

With Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure, the venerable educational series makes the leap from home computers to Nintendo DS. As in earlier Math Blaster releases, players face a series of action-oriented challenges and mini-games that require math skills as well as arcade skills. The games are intended to engage the zealous gamer, as well as the budding mathematician, in its players. The Prime Adventure features an "Adventure" mode that leads players through a series of 20 challenges, as a science fiction story develops between levels. Players are free to play any game they choose in the game's "Challenge" mode. Three difficulty settings are available, and up to four DS gamers can compete in single- and multi-card multiplayer modes.

  • NOT a game for a 2nd Grader!

I was looking for a math building game that would help my AD(H)D 2nd grader. This one was recommended. Unfortunatly it deals mostly with multiplication. We are not there yet. I do look forward to him playing with this game when it becomes appropriate. So it is not a total waste. HOWEVER, I am STILL LOOKING for a Great Game for addition and subtraction! Would also like to find some of Learning Zones games for the DS! A_Schweppe@yahoo.com

  • The kids play with it

My grandchild loves playing video games and hates doing math. Now He plays with the game, and now he does better in math. This works better than taking away his toy. Just restrict him to this game or no game. After you leave, well he is drawn to his toy, and he discovers that this game is better than no game!

  • Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure (Nintendo DS, 2009)

I bought this for my ten year old daughter to help her with her math learning in school. She said it was "entertaining, exciting and fun". Using the Nintendo DS instead of a computer hopefully will accomplish more and be less boring for her, as she will be able to take it with her.
