This portable speaker system from Jawbone works through a 3.5-millimeter wired stereo cable output or wirelessly via Wi-Fi and is Bluetooth-enabled, which means you can control with any number of portable devices. The Jawbone Jambox is a rechargeable speaker that runs for up to 10 hours without needing to be recharged. Simply set it up wherever you are, such as on your patio, on a picnic, or at a tailgate party and connect it via Bluetooth to a cell phone, portable music player, laptop, or similar device to let the music flow. Anything that you can listen to on a portable device can be transferred to the Jawbone Jambox, which delivers clear sound. You can even control the device using your smartphone or related device for several playback options like volume, pause, repeat, skip, and rewind. In addition to delivering incredible sound reproduction, the Jawbone Jambox also has a built-in microphone, which means that it also doubles as a speakerphone. With it, you can make and receive calls hands-free, including video calls, and switch back and forth between calls and the music easily. The Jawbone Jambox speaker system is lightweight and weighs less than 1 pound. It takes up to two and a half hours to recharge fully, which can be done through an electrical socket or through a microUSB connection to another device like a desktop computer.

Can't beat the price!
Looked at this when it first came out ($199.99) and laughed as I walked away. Years later and at $20 I had to get one....sound is pretty good and the connectivity is easy (Bluetooth). I really like having it...using it in a car without Bluetooth is great and if I'm working in a spot I don't have a plug then this is ideal. Do hesitate this little thing is awesome for the price!

I bought this speaker due to the reduced price and although the sound quality is great the volume is not nearly loud enough. I have bluetooth speakers half the size that are louder. If I had paid full price I would have sent it back.

I don't know how this was considered $200.00 MSRP. I wouldn't even consider it at that price. I haven't tried any of the features that may come with the digital updates yet so maybe that will give a lot more value. At $30 though it's a fantastic product. Definitely a steal at that price. Pretty decent volume levels out of such a small box. Decent battery life. Has some weight to it so it doesn't feel crappy. Don't regret my purchase at all.

Good Little Speaker
I bought this speaker to replace the same style that I had dropped too many times and it finally did not survive. These speakers are fairly rugged and the sound quality is good. Not great, but for it's size I think it is better than can be expected. I have another of these and I use them when I am working. I have a JBL also which has better sound quality, but I do not believe would take the abuse that the Jawbone does. Shipping was amazingly fast.
