These EGO batteries actually last longer than I expected. About 2 years out of the last 2 and I use them pretty much year round and they stay on the charger which is suppose to make them not last as long. So I would assume they would last longer if you pulled them off once charged like you should. On a full charge with the 2.5 volt, I am able to run the weed trimmer about 25min to 30min running full speed most of the time. The EGO tools are great and I have helped EGO a bit by getting a few neighbors buying them as well and they are happy. My one neighbor bought the lawn mower and is thrilled! Great stuff!

EGO Equipment is truly Awesome... I have a Leaf Blower, String Trimmer, Chain Saw & the small 120 V AC Inverter for running small things during power outages and/or camping. All items work like they are supposed to and are Very Dependable Equipment. I cut down & cut up the limbs on two medium size Hickory Trees on one charge of a 5 Amp Battery. I now prefer the EGO saw to gas powered saw now 10 to 1...! The Saw is Lighter, Quieter, Safer, much Easier and Cheaper to Operate than gas...
