Works great on Asus, AMD Ryzen 7 2700x based platform
It works perfectly on a Asus TUF X470-Plus Gaming motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 2700x and 32GB RAM running Win 10 Pro system. This is my new gaming PC and needed a connection to the Internet so I bought this item. It says on the ad about needing an Intel based platform but it works great on my AMD setup. I would very much recommend it and he Blue-tooth works great too.

Instant Speed Upgrade over USB
This is a must have for those currently using a USB wi-fi adapter. First off the PCI-E x1 is a faster bus. Second, the Intel AX chip is the fastest you can buy right now. I like the fact that there is no heatsink sticking up on the Edup brand. Great for very tight spaces around GPU. Was a plug and play installation with included disc in Win 10. Note: Have an alternate internet connection when installing and you won't need disk at all. Windows instantly finds the best Intel drivers and BT drivers for this expansion card. The 5G connection is Awesome! Now Im spoiled. Been harassing my cable company to give me a WiFi 6 router so I can unleash the fury in my gaming rig. I have "Gig Speed" internet service and im not getting near 1000mbps on any device. That's the cable co's fault with their ... This is a must have for those currently using a USB wi-fi adapter. A no brainer upgrade
It works very well and came with the low profile bracket needed to install on my sff PC. Speeds are great my only complaint is the metal plate soldered over the wireless card. The chip would be easily replaceable if not for this. Under the metal plate is an ax200 Intel wifi chip. At $15-20 its a good price for a wifi upgrade.

Finicky at first
At first, windows cant find a driver on first boot which made it not work. What I did was (didnt have a disk drive) connect to the internet via a little wifi dongle I have, then checked for updates, downloaded, then reset and bam, got 400+mbps
