The Microsoft surface pen works great with the surface pro 6 and it attaches to the side with magnets. Matching alcantara type cover and mobile mouse complete the package. Loving everything about my surface pro and this surface pen.

The main issue with the Microsoft surface pen system is how they implemented right click. You have to hold down the button and tap the screen, which is weird enough already, but the the switch is also very stiff. I understand why they did that as well since it's on the flat side of the pen that snaps to the edge of the screen and you don't want it being clicked accidentally all the time, but the stiffness ends up causing your hand and wrist significant discomfort if you need to use it often (i.e. when actually doing professional-level work in Photoshop). It also doesn't "draw" quite as nice as Wacom's offerings. Overall it's still a great device and works very well, but if you seriously need to use a pen for hours then you may way to reconsider relying on this as your main productivity tool.Read full review

Great quality. Magnetic thing is great for keeping it all together. Side button felt awkward but will probably get better with use.

For an artist, the jittery-ness when making slow, diagonal brush strokes is AWFUL. (there is software that correct this, but I have not tried it out yet) The pen is otherwise super responsive, and the ability to magnet to the side of the screen is A+. I'd say it'd be fabulous if you don't plan to draw professionally with it!

Works great with my Surface Pro 5. I had no issues connecting it or using the pen.
