I use mine in a small office. It was real easy to set up and get running. I used it as a bridge for a printer that doesn't have wireless, but does have a network port. Does exactly what I needed it for.

It works fine at 2.4GHZ but everything we do today is both 2.4GHZ and 5.5GHz. I do not recommend ths product as reach of 2.4ghZ from router results in limitation as to how far you can have TV from router. We will be getting 5.5GHZ mid this year. In my case, my router is on first floor and TV I was trying to connect is on second floor. Only way I could get it to work because of my extender to the router. Avinash

It’s actually not that hard to setup and use, I thought it is easy. Seller will offer a guide to set up too. I just plug in a USB port and connected it with my phone, browsed to its static IP of 192.168.20.1, and then used the Web GUI to set it up. That consisted of scanning for my WiFi “hotspots” (available SSIDs), selecting the one I wanted it to bridge, then giving it a static IP so I can always find it. Boom! Done! Now just plug it into any RJ45 port, and its on my network. I used this for an outdoor WiFi Security camera that had dropped off the network. WiFi on the camera wasn’t working anymore, but once I plugged this into its RJ45 port the camera was back on the network and working flawlessly. And it’s actually got better throughput than the camera’s original WiFi connection. It also has the option of becoming a hotspot itself. This can be disabled if you like (which I did as I only needed the bridge for the camera) but it does offer the functionality of extending your WiFi network from the point it is deployed. So it’s not only a great bridge for wired devices but also a WiFi extender. Unbeatable product at this price point! And it saved me from having to replace a WiFi camera that had lost its WiFi capabilities. The cameras I use are awesome in every respect except their WiFi circuitry. Crappy circuit that is prone to low bandwidth and utter shutdown. I’ve had three of these cameras develop WiFi problems, but this little jewel saves them!Read full review

Not very easy to set up. Does not work with some Samsung TV`s so have to be careful if your TV model will work with this LAN Converter,

Got this to connect a friend's desktop computer to internet. He didn't want to pull an Ethernet cable. Took a while following the instruction sheet. I could not access the setup page in the device as they show. I was preparing a return. Then I tried clearing the device using the RESET button. I brought it near my xfinity router and pressed the WPS button on the router and this device. the LED blinked BLUE it took longer than I expected about 20 seconds. then I unplugged the device and plugged it back in. it shows up on the task bar as wired internet connection, internet works. I then delivered it to my friend and set it up for his computer no problems
