Although I am a huge fan of some of the Ultima RPGs, I expected this game to be a refreshing change of pace from the typical numbered entry. Its different alright, but not refreshing. The best way to describe this game is "Ultima meets crappy rendition of Gauntlet or Zelda". Gauntlet and Zelda are much better games btw. The only saving grace for this game are the familiar faces, decent sound effects and land of Britannia; otherwise a total let down. The plot is, The Black Knight was bored and decided to kidnap some Mayors. You as the avatar must stop him. That is it. Great story eh? Trust me people, if you want an Ultima game, this isnt it. If you must play Ultima on a console, pick up Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar for the NES or Ultima VI: The False Prophet for the SNES. Those are good role playing games (especially Quest of the Avatar), and real Ultima fare. Even better, play VII: The Black Gate on the PC. I cannot recommend this to anyone, even the hardcore Ultima fan. I bought it and sold it four days later.Read full review
Not your typical rpg. Decent graphics and a very challenging game play.

This is essentially a gameboy cart to snes adaptor, with some software that adds borders and colors to the games, you can even swap out the colors for your own or change the pallets if you press L+R at the same time (you gotta pause first) if you press x it'll switch between the original pallet and the one you selected, the only real problem with the super gameboy is that there is screen tearing, and sometimes pixels dissapear, but other than that, it's actually easier to play gameboy games on here, because of the snes controller.
