I'm currently using this paste on a Radeon HD 7990 with the reference cooler. PK-3 is much thicker than other thermal compounds I used in the past. Application isn't very difficult but does require more pressure on the plunger. There is a plastic spreader included, but I did not use it. Thermal performance is very good, typically running around 50C over ambient, reducing load temperatures by about 3-5 degrees over stock paste. GPU temps peak at about 86 on very hot days. One of the main advantages of PK-3 over other pastes is the resistance to pump out. On my GPU I've had multiple pastes lose thermal performance within a week as thermal cycles gradually squeeze the paste out between the die and cooler. So far, PK-3 has not had any issues. Thermals are just as good as the day I applied it. Overall I'm very satisfied with the performance I'm getting. I think PK-3 is a great choice for bare die applications where pump out is a concern, such as on GPUs or laptops.Read full review
