I was expecting a lot more from this product, but it is only slightly better than using warm water to moisten the heart strap leads. I had to apply quite a bit to my skin AND to the leads in order to make a reliable connection. At this usage rate, I'll run out of the product pretty fast. The high cost does not make it a good value in my case. It is also rather greasy and messy to apply. Another negative is that the product will leave a visible white residue on the inside of your jersey. The residue will wash out without leaving a permanent stain, but it is rather unsightly. I would expect such a pricey product would have a better formula that leaves no visible stains on expensive cycle clothing. All in all, "Buh-bump" was just so-so for me. I won't be buying any more, and I cannot recommend it. I hope it works better for you, if you decide to try it. Only 3 stars.Read full review

I've used it for many years and regard it very highly. Pros: Better than waiting for the H/R band to get sweaty; non-sticky; 1 tube lasts forever. Cons: Can tend to dry out in cold conditions if stopping for a coffee.

Takes just a small amount rubbed in the palms of your hands to produce an excellent conduction between skin and electrodes. My heart monitor worked every time. Since applications are so small, the tube lasts a long time.
