I love the new hanging/hook feature on this latest inflater. The handle is very comfortable and the head fully rotates for the best handling position to inflate the tires. I have several bicycles and should have bought this great unit long ago. I use to dread airing up the tires with my hand pump, I would sweat a bucket as I pumped again and again and again... well no longer! My tires would frequently become unseated on the rim due to not inflating and the air leaking out eventually. I can hardly wait to air up the tires now!

This is clearly made of high quality materials and is a mechanically sound tool it’s just not good for its intended use in my opinion. The gauge measures in increments of 2 and starts numbering at 10psi which doesn’t work for fat bike or low pressure tires. When using for presta the oring is too tight and gets stuck as you push it on letting most of the air out and is hard to remove after. I assume that would get better as it wears, but it’s a pia as new. Also it’s a 2 handed affair to keep it pressed on and straight in both modes. A digital gauge with 1/2 psi increments would be much more usable. I didn’t do my homework so it’s on me, but this is made by my favorite tool company and I just assumed it would be what I was looking for. Save your money until they refine its deficiencies.

Finally, as expected, a precision tool for filling tires. It's very well built, almost over-built. No rattles or anything that feels tinny. One caveat from giving it 5 stars, the Presta side chuck has an O-ring that is just a bit too beefy to slide over some, not all, valves. It works perfectly on tubeless valves, but some threaded valves just will not slide past the O-ring and go in deep enough to depress the tip. I'm thinking of adding a spot of Vaseline to the O-ring to see if that aids the Presta fill. Probably over time, the O-ring will wear in, not wear out. The Schrader side is perfect+++.

The tool is so quiet that I thought it was not working. At first it only let air out of the tire, but it does fill very slowly if I hold it very hard against the valve. The tool doesn't fit on valve in a way that feels... on, anyway. As soon as I try to let go it leaks again, so the whole time I fill the tire I have to be pushing the tool on the stem rather hard, then yank it off fast. It's not a one-handed tool. The Youtube video makes it look a lot easier and so I think my'n may be broken, or have the wrong gasket in it. Something. It does inflate the tires, but it takes a long time to get to firm. The gauge reads about 220psi or about there all the time. I'd be very surprised if I had that much pressure in my tires. My air compressor is brand new, it never drops below 90 psi and quickly reaches 120 psi between uses. That's not the issue. I wish I knew what was.Read full review

This tire inflator works great if you're in the shop or close by an air compressor. Just make sure the air compressor is turned on and you're golden! I've not had any issues with this device and it beats using a hand pump...again if you're close by an air compressor. Saves time and effort. It has a hook to hang it to the tool box and a readable pressure gauge so you know how much pressure you're putting into the tire(s) and you can also use it to blow off yourself or dust closeby.
