Bought this for my Kimber Custom II to add a magwell and replace the plastic housing that came with the gun. The part was in new condition, with a matte finish that matched the pistol's matte finish, and slid into place like it had been there all along. Very easy to install. Works great and looks fantastic..

It took about ten minutes to install this new mainspring housing, and cost about $85.00. Others cost up to $185.00. Maybe the more expensive ones are worth it, but I can't see how. Tight tolerances, great fit, easy installation and good price all come together in this Kimber piece. It's a no brainer.

Does exactly what it's supposed to adds a little more bite over that plastic one my custom 2 came with while it does add a little more heft at the bottom of the gun the quick mag changes more than make up for it in my opinion.

Product metal, unlike the plastic one that I took out. Good quality and fast delivery.

Kimber makes a good magwell for the costs or at least they did. Recently it looks like they are going up on price.
