Bought the Sog to replace my lost Leatherman micro. It is of comparable quality. It's basically the same tool with minor differences. The Sog has compound leverage on it's scissors, but I couldn't tell that it provided any advantage. In fact the Micro cut better because it's blade are thinner and cutting edges more refined. Also the gears for the leveraged joint protrude past the end of the tool presenting a wear point for your pocket. Lastly the Micro has a blade which works on Phillips screws and the Sog does not. The Sog is a good, quality tool in material, finish and design, but doesn't quite equal the Micro in actual use.

Was interested in the compound leverage on the scissors, but it doesn't seem to translate into more cutting power. Better off with a Leatherman Micra.
