The tech sights work great. My only issue was with the front screw. It got damaged while pushing it to the plastic to start. I had to re-order the front block and the screw. The other issue I have is that the product does not come with the key needed to adjust the rear sights. I have that on order now because I need to adjust mine. Other than those two issues. Good product and easy to use.

Replaced my broken stock folding sight with these. Installed easily. Just be sure you have the correct drift punch for the front sight removal. Work slowly and carefully. At the range, I've been focusing on sighting in at 100 yards, using the 2nd flip-up aperture. Sights were pretty dang close right out of the box. Use sub-sonic ammo at 100 yards or more or you wont get good results. Windage and elevation adjustments are easy using a very small allen key to depress the lock buttons on the front and rear sights. Sights are rugged, all metal. They look great too.

These sights are very easy to mount( make sure you have a brass punch)! The directions show that the front sight must be removed from the left side but on mine, it was from the right side ( 2 yr old rifle)! These are similar to military ( long and short range flip up apertures) but these don’t have a larger peep for short range - both long and short ranges peeps are small diameter holes! Definitely not a deal breaker as far as I am concerned though! It took me 10 rounds to get it dialed in ! Yes, I would purchase them again!

I wanted a set of steel iron sights to put on my takedown model. They had to be user friendly and simple so when there is abuse involved, little to go wrong. I have been impressed. The feature that allows you to flip the sight to the 100 yard kinda range is fantastic. I zeroed at 25 yards, I'm on at 50 and with standard or high velocity ammo you can flip the sight and hit a 6 inch plate at 100 yards. I would add this to any Ruger 10/22 because the factory sights suck so badly. Keep this in mind, follow the directions and use thread locker as instructed and you'll be good.

These sights are a huge improvement over the factory originals. The sight picture through the rear aperture is much more precise, so my shots groups are much tighter now. I am shooting 1/2" groups at 50' instead of 2" groups. I can shoot 2" groups at 100 yards instead of not being able to hit the paper. The aperture is incredibly helpful, especially for those of us with aging eyes. While the cost of the sights is comparable to a run-of-the-mill scope, the iron sights keep the weight and bulk to a minimum, while performing exceptionally well. I am very happy with this modification. Ruger should adopt it as their standard configuration.
