I love these grips, I have another pair of grips on my S&W Model 686 .357 and they were amazing to use when shooting in competition, so I knew these grips would be worth the money. The only thing I have found is that the little screw on the backside of the medallion on the grips sticks out just enough to snag the magazine(s) I am using one factory and one after market. I am going to need to take the grip off on one side and turn that screw one turn to get it deeper out of the way. I also put these Grips on a Rock Island Full Size 1911 .45 and the safeties hit on top of the wood grips on both sides so had to remove a very small amount of wood so they were notched and then sealed the wood with clear fingernail polish. You can't see it unless I point it out....

The handles bolt on and fits OK. Feels good in the hand. Mold parting lines in the rubber make it look cheap. Screws that hold little emblems on the sides prevent the magazines from sliding in on my Springfield 1911, making the gun inoperable. It might work if the screws were ground down, but you should not have to do that, and the mold lines in the rubber still make it look cheesy. I expected better quality, and not to have to modify it to get it to work correctly.

I recently put these on a Rock Island Armory Full Size 1911. They fit perfectly without any modification. They feel very durable and the finish is beautiful. These grips fit with the ambidextrous safety as well. I have 3 sets of different style grips and these are hands down perfect in style and feel. Functionality is flawless to include a slip free soft rubber grip.
